Hotel pickup guides
YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
Arena Gorda → Bayahíbe → Saona → Arena Gorda
Request a schedule for the confirmed hotel entrance and transfer format, including the return to your resort.
Plan my trip from Arena GordaA resort complex needs a precise hotel identity
Use the complete accommodation name rather than only RIU, Royalton or the wider Punta Cana destination. Neighboring hotels in a branded complex can have different reservations and access instructions. The official RIU Palace Punta Cana information places that property on Arena Gorda beach; our hotel guides help distinguish it from RIU Palace Macao and RIU Bambu.
Do not infer the pickup zone solely from a hotel name. In particular, a booking at RIU Palace Macao should not be treated as instructions to go to Macao beach. Send your reservation name and confirm where your own vehicle is expected before involving the rest of your group.
Coordinate friends staying in different properties
If relatives are split between hotels, list each property and ask whether separate collection or one agreed location works. Outside guests may need permission to enter another hotel, and room categories do not create access rights. Keep a reachable contact for each party. The transfer confirmation should identify who joins where without assuming every lobby is interchangeable.
- Full hotel name for every participating party
- Agreed access and collection instructions
- Direct or shared vehicle and connection arrangements
- Both road journeys and the complete excursion price
Understand what a private upgrade changes
A private vehicle may suit a group wanting one coordinated road journey, but it can still connect to a shared Classic or Premium boat. An exclusive vessel is a separate charter. Shared boats board in Bayahíbe; coastal activities at the resort do not replace that connection. Ask which parts of the proposal are private and which are shared before comparing prices.
Plan the island day around the full journey
Ask for collection, boat check-in, expected disembarkation and resort return as separate stages. A quoted driving estimate omits other pickups and boarding. Choose the named beach and island stops that matter to your party, confirm meals and children’s arrangements, and leave the evening flexible. Hotel entertainment or a restaurant reservation should not become a promised excursion return deadline.
Questions about this departure
Is RIU Palace Macao the same pickup area as Macao beach?
Do not infer the location from the word Macao. Send the exact RIU hotel reservation and follow the collection instructions confirmed for that property.
Can guests from different Arena Gorda hotels travel together?
Ask with the complete hotel list. Vehicle arrangements and permission to meet inside another property require confirmation; a shared hotel brand does not settle access.
Does a private transfer include a private boat?
No. Road transport and boat exclusivity are separate booking choices. Confirm each part and its price; shared Classic and Premium boats board in Bayahíbe.
