YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
Riu Republica → Bayahíbe → Saona → confirmed hotel return
Agree the Republica collection instructions and full return plan with your excursion booking.
Plan my trip from Riu RepublicaStart with Republica, not simply RIU Punta Cana
RIU identifies Hotel Riu Republica at Arena Gorda and lists other Punta Cana hotels under separate names. Send the full Republica name from your reservation. If friends stay at Palace Bavaro, Palace Macao or another RIU hotel, list each property separately. Similar branding is not evidence that a driver uses one entrance for everyone. LoveSaona can then check the collection request instead of planning around an ambiguous 'RIU' message.
Choose the day your group actually wants
Decide together whether your priority is a social boat journey, more island stops or a vessel just for your friends. Classic uses the larger shared catamaran format. Premium is a smaller shared speedboat experience with stops at the Natural Pool, Toro Beach, Mano Juan and Canto de la Playa, subject to the confirmed itinerary and conditions. Ask about music and the passenger format rather than assuming the resort's entertainment style continues on the excursion.
- Excursion date and one organizer's contact
- Full hotel name for every collection request
- Final participant total and preferred boat format
- Written transfer arrangement and total for the group
Request privacy on the right part of the journey
A direct private vehicle can be useful when your friends want to travel together, but it may still deliver you to a shared boat. For an exclusive island day, request a private charter and specify whether road transport should be exclusive too. If someone joins late or drops out, have the quote rechecked before splitting the cost. Group size, boat capacity and transport arrangements determine what can actually be offered.
Leave room for the island day in your holiday plans
Keep the evening before your confirmed collection manageable and prepare a small beach bag, drinking water and sun protection. Tell the excursion contact about any fixed evening commitment before agreeing the schedule. A hotel restaurant reservation is easier to adjust than a flight connection; plan an essential flight on another day. This guide is published independently by LoveSaona and does not indicate a RIU partnership or an excursion included in your hotel package.
Questions about this departure
Where will the Saona transfer collect us at Riu Republica?
The exact meeting point and collection time must be confirmed for your booking. The hotel's published address is not a designated excursion pickup point. Use the instructions agreed with LoveSaona and check any hotel access requirements.
Is the Saona group adults-only because Riu Republica is adults-only?
The hotel's guest policy does not set the passenger policy of an independent shared tour. Ask about the excursion itself. For a boat reserved for your own friends, request a private charter quote.
Can friends staying at different RIU hotels book together?
Send all exact hotel names, the total number of travelers and the same preferred date in one request. Collection coverage, the vehicle plan and any supplements need confirmation; do not assume that every RIU property shares one pickup.
