Four times worth asking for

Ask for hotel pickup, arrival at the departure point, boat departure, and estimated hotel return. Those are four different times. A tour’s headline duration may not tell you how long you will be away from your hotel.

The Ministry of Tourism describes Bayahíbe as the main gateway to Saona. That gives you a useful orientation, but your operator must confirm the exact marina, beach, or meeting point used for your departure.

Make the pickup unambiguous

Send the full hotel name, not just the resort brand. Ask whether you will be collected at reception, a security gate, or another meeting area. If you arrange your own transport, confirm the meeting location before setting off.
