Private vs Shared Saona Tours: Which Fits Your Group?

Define what private means in your quote

Ask whether exclusivity applies to the boat, the road transfer, or both. A private boat does not automatically include private hotel transport, and an exclusive transfer does not make a shared boat private.

Request the actual boat description and capacity. A photograph of a coastline or an example vessel is not a boat assignment. Confirm which facilities matter to your party, including shade, seating, boarding arrangements, and onboard amenities.

Compare the whole party’s cost

Shared fares are commonly presented per passenger, while a charter quote may be organised around the vessel or party. Ask for the final total and a breakdown before comparing the options.

• Named boat or clear vessel specification
• Passenger capacity and crew arrangements
• Confirmed stops and duration
• Transport, meals, drinks, and fees
• Cancellation and weather policy
• Final price for the complete party

A flexible brief still needs confirmation

Tell the operator which parts of your day are priorities and which are preferences. A private arrangement does not remove weather, access, or operating constraints. Agree what happens if your preferred route cannot go ahead.

LoveSaona’s charter planner prepares a brief you can send to us on WhatsApp. Private groups can also start at Marina Casa de Campo at Premium prices. Confirm the group conditions, vessel, itinerary, transport and complete quote with our team before committing.
