YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
Riu Palace Bavaro → Bayahíbe → Saona → hotel return
Confirm the Palace Bavaro collection arrangement and complete return plan with the excursion booking.
Plan my trip from Riu Palace BavaroName Palace Bavaro among the RIU properties
RIU's official page places Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro at Playa de Arena Gorda and distinguishes it from the other Punta Cana RIU hotels. Use Palace Bavaro in the enquiry, even if your holiday paperwork also mentions the wider RIU complex. If friends stay at Republica, Bambu or Palace Macao, list those properties separately. The operator needs the actual hotel for each traveler before checking the collection route and access instructions.
Plan by participant, not by hotel upgrade
A family group may include children from connecting rooms and adults booked into Elite Club categories. Tell LoveSaona who is actually joining the island day, with each child's age and any road-seat or boarding needs. Adults-only hotel categories do not make the entire resort or the independent boat group adults-only. Ask about the vehicle and suitable lifejackets directly so the outing is planned around the travelers rather than their accommodation label.
- Palace Bavaro and any additional exact hotel names
- Date, adult count and every child's age
- Road seating, boarding and meal requests
- Confirmed transfer coverage and complete family total
Decide what should be shared and what should be exclusive
Classic uses the larger shared catamaran format; Premium uses a smaller shared speedboat group with more island stops. A private road vehicle may suit a family wanting to travel together, but it can still connect to either shared tour. If you want a boat only for your own guests, request a separate charter and state the group size. Compare the two transport portions explicitly instead of reading 'private transfer' as an exclusive island day.
Prepare for the journey beyond Arena Gorda
Saona's shared boat departure is in Bayahíbe, not at the RIU resort beach. Once collection is confirmed, fit breakfast around the agreed schedule and pack swimming items, sun protection and a dry bag. Keep the return instructions and excursion contact on your phone. A hotel transport offer or Elite Club benefit applies only as described by RIU; LoveSaona's independent quote establishes this excursion's road transport, boat, meals and total.
Questions about this departure
Is Riu Palace Bavaro an adults-only Saona pickup?
The hotel has family accommodation and adults-only Elite Club categories. Those room categories do not set the passenger policy of an independent excursion. Give LoveSaona the actual party and children's ages.
Can Palace Bavaro and Riu Republica guests join one booking?
Request it with both exact hotel names, participant counts and the same date. Coverage, any supplements and whether collections can be combined need confirmation.
Does a private vehicle from RIU include a private boat?
Only if the confirmed offer explicitly includes both. A private vehicle can deliver your group to a shared Classic or Premium boat; an exclusive vessel requires a charter quote.
