YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
The Westin Puntacana Resort, Playa Blanca → Bayahíbe → Saona → agreed hotel return
Confirm the entire hotel-to-boat plan and return; keep an essential flight for a different day.
Plan my trip from The Westin Puntacana ResortLocate the Westin within Puntacana Resort & Club
Marriott identifies The Westin Puntacana Resort, and the resort owner places it at Playa Blanca within Puntacana Resort & Club. Use that hotel identity rather than 'a hotel in Punta Cana' or 'Cap Cana'. Those names do not identify the same accommodation. If your holiday includes another resort or a villa stay, give the property occupied on the excursion date. Friends staying elsewhere should be listed with their exact accommodation and participant count before LoveSaona checks a combined connection.
Keep the island day separate from flight-day transport
An airport transfer and an island excursion are different journeys, even when the hotel is convenient for your flight. Agree the actual road connection to Bayahíbe, the boat program and the complete hotel return. Do not treat a general airport driving estimate as evidence that an island day fits before check-in or departure. Keep an essential flight on another date and explain any fixed commitment before booking. If you change hotels during the stay, ask for transport coverage and the quote to be checked again.
- The Westin Puntacana Resort at Playa Blanca as the actual hotel
- Date, all travelers and children's ages
- Road arrangement, boarding needs and any fixed commitments
- Confirmed departure port, full price and hotel return
Plan the family outing beyond the resort activities
The Westin describes family recreation, wellness and golf as hotel or resort experiences. A kids' club does not establish care on an independent boat outing. Send the ages of the children traveling and discuss responsible adult supervision, vehicle seating, lifejackets and boarding. Ask separately about infant or mobility equipment and the food provided on the selected trip. Resort beach activities, eco-reserve visits and golf arrangements do not define the itinerary, equipment or meals of a Saona booking.
Compare boat choices with clear ports and inclusions
Classic is the larger shared catamaran format; Premium uses a smaller shared speedboat group and more named stops. Neither boards at the Westin beach. For a private vessel, discuss the quoted port and complete price: a premium-priced Marina Casa de Campo departure may be requested separately, with road transport also clarified. Do not substitute a marina in Cap Cana or Puntacana Resort for that port. Confirm every inclusion and the return contact, then pack swimming items, sun protection and a dry bag. This is an independent LoveSaona guide, not a Marriott partnership.
Questions about this departure
Is The Westin Puntacana in Cap Cana?
No. Marriott and the resort owner identify it at Playa Blanca within Puntacana Resort & Club. Send the actual hotel on your reservation instead of using another resort area's collection description.
Can we visit Saona before an important flight from Punta Cana?
Keep an essential flight for another day. An airport connection or the hotel's airport location does not confirm the complete island excursion return, which needs its own agreed road-and-boat plan.
Do shared boats leave from Playa Blanca at the Westin?
LoveSaona's shared Classic and Premium departures board in Bayahíbe. Confirm the hotel road connection and boarding instructions rather than assuming a hotel-beach departure.

Official destination context for the Bayahíbe gateway to Saona. This source does not confirm a hotel meeting point, road transfer or excursion timetable.
- LoveSaona: service information
Shared Classic and Premium departures use Bayahíbe. Hotel transport, the selected boat, inclusions and the complete price require confirmation for the booking.
