Saona from Excellence Carmen Punta Cana

Recognize El Carmen and the current official Carmen name

The current official property page is headed Excellence Carmen Punta Cana, and the former El Carmen web address redirects there. An older booking may still use El Carmen; include it with the current Carmen name so the intended property is clear. This guide does not assign a rebranding date. The brand's separate Excellence Punta Cana resort is also in Uvero Alto, so location alone does not resolve the hotel identity. Use the reservation and ask the hotel directly if the accommodation name remains ambiguous.

Give the hotel occupied on the excursion date

For a stay split across resorts, tell LoveSaona which hotel you occupy on the day of the island trip rather than only the arrival hotel. List any friends' different properties with their participant counts. Ask whether the proposed road plan is direct, combines collections or includes a connection, and obtain the full price including the agreed return. If accommodation changes later, reconfirm those arrangements rather than keeping another property's instructions. No lobby, gate, departure time or hotel-beach boarding location is established by this guide.

• Current Carmen name and any older El Carmen wording
• Hotel occupied on the excursion date and all participating properties
• Party size, boat preference and private-road requests
• Confirmed instructions, complete inclusions and hotel return

Decide what privacy means for both parts of the journey

Classic is the larger shared catamaran format. Premium is a smaller shared speedboat group with more named island stops, not a boat reserved for your party. The adults-only hotel does not determine whether children join an independent shared excursion. Discuss the atmosphere and itinerary you want. A charter is the separate request for an exclusive vessel; a private road vehicle should also be specified if you want exclusivity throughout. Compare boarding, shade and meals on the actual offered boat rather than inferring them from group size.

Keep club and room services in their proper scope

Excellence Club and suite amenities enhance the hotel stay but do not book a LoveSaona vessel, transfer or celebration extra. Keep the independent excursion contact and written inclusions available. Tell the provider about food requirements or a special occasion before accepting the offer, and avoid fixed evening plans dependent on an unconfirmed return. Once the schedule is agreed, fit breakfast around collection and pack a light beach bag. This resource does not imply an Excellence partnership or a tour included in a Club upgrade.
