YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
Catalonia Bayahibe → agreed Bayahíbe boarding location → Saona → hotel return
Agree the local transfer or independent arrival and the return connection for your actual reservation.
Plan my trip from Catalonia BayahibeRead Bayahibe as the hotel, not the room category
Catalonia's official Bayahibe page describes family accommodation and adults-only Privileged Romance rooms. That distinction is within the hotel's room offering; Catalonia Royal La Romana is separately named. Send the hotel heading from your confirmation, with the room category only as an additional detail where useful. Do not move the transfer request to Royal simply because a booking description says adults-only or Romance. Clarify an ambiguous reservation with the hotel before organizing the outing.
Arrange the handover to the actual boat crew
A Bayahíbe-area hotel name does not supply the excursion's check-in place. Ask whether the complete quote includes the local road connection and return. If you prefer your own driver, agree the boarding destination, check-in instructions and return contact first. The resort's beach or a generic boat-duration description is not the LoveSaona meeting plan. Use the actual confirmed destination rather than asking a driver to find a boat somewhere in Bayahíbe.

Choose the island day across different room categories
Families and adults in Romance rooms can have different priorities for a day away. Discuss the actual travelers, shade, boarding and food requirements together. Classic is the larger shared catamaran format; Premium uses a smaller shared speedboat group with more named stops. Neither the Privileged label nor an adults-only room establishes a private boat or the excursion's passenger policy. For a vessel only for your party, compare a charter and its separate road arrangements.
Keep hotel benefits and the return distinct
Once the local connection is agreed, confirm meals, drinking water and the full island itinerary with the excursion contact. Pack swimming items, sun protection and a dry bag and leave some flexibility before evening reservations. Save the final road-return arrangement so independent arrival does not leave the way back unresolved. This LoveSaona guide does not imply a Catalonia partnership or an island excursion included in a hotel room upgrade.
Questions about this departure
Does Privileged Romance mean we stay at Catalonia Royal La Romana?
Not by itself. Privileged Romance is an adult room category described on the Catalonia Bayahibe page. Use the actual hotel name on the reservation and clarify it with the hotel if needed.
Does Catalonia Bayahibe's beach identify the Saona boarding point?
No. Confirm the actual LoveSaona boarding location and check-in instructions, with a local hotel connection or agreed independent arrival and return.
Is a Privileged booking an adults-only or private Saona boat?
A hotel category does not set an independent excursion's passenger policy or exclusivity. Send the actual group and ask about the selected shared tour, or request a separate private charter.
