YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
VIK hotel Cayena Beach → Bayahíbe → Saona → agreed hotel return
Confirm the full road-and-boat plan and hotel return before arranging other activities.
Plan my trip from VIK hotel Cayena BeachKeep the Cayena identity and complex relationship clear
The operator presents Cayena as an exclusive area with its own accommodation and access to Arena Blanca facilities. Its contact page places that area within the wider complex. That is different from an unrelated neighboring resort. Include the complete Cayena booking and explain where your party is actually staying; an Arena Blanca message or a beach map should not substitute for instructions confirmed for your excursion.
- Cayena reservation and any additional Arena Blanca bookings
- Actual adults, children and practical boarding requirements
- Shared or exclusive boat preference stated explicitly
- Agreed complex access, road connection and return
Turn suite occupancy into a real passenger list
Cayena's ocean suites feature balconies or terraces and a sofa bed; the operator also lists family occupancy options. A suite description is useful for the holiday stay but does not set the excursion's passenger count. Give every traveler and each child's age, including friends in other rooms. Discuss road seating, shade and suitable flotation equipment so the proposal reflects the people joining rather than the room's maximum capacity.
Choose privacy on the boat separately
An intimate hotel area can make an exclusive vessel appealing, but you may equally enjoy a sociable shared excursion. Classic is the larger shared catamaran format; Premium is the smaller shared speedboat itinerary with more stops. Compare atmosphere, seating and beach priorities for your group. A charter needs an express vessel proposal, and a private road vehicle is a separate decision even when both are requested together.
Check the day beyond Cayena's hotel benefits
The hotel's El Cano breakfast and lunch arrangements belong to the Cayena stay. Review island meals, drinks, transport and return in the excursion proposal rather than carrying those entitlements onto the boat. Ask how the agreed vehicle arrangement serves the actual reservation and when the party should be ready, once confirmed. Private groups can also request a higher-priced Casa de Campo Marina departure with its own road plan.
Questions about this departure
Is Cayena a completely separate location from Arena Blanca?
The operator markets Cayena separately but describes its exclusive area within the VIK Arena Blanca complex. Use the exact booking and have the excursion access arrangement confirmed.
Does exclusive hotel access mean a private Saona boat?
No. Classic and Premium remain shared tours. Ask for an exclusive vessel explicitly if boat privacy is part of the day you want.
Can Cayena and Arena Blanca guests travel together?
List both reservations and all participants in the enquiry. Confirm how the road service and return work rather than assuming hotel access privileges define an excursion meeting point.
