YOUR JOURNEY AT A GLANCE
Barceló Bávaro Palace → Bayahíbe → Saona → hotel return
Request the meeting point and schedule for the Palace property; no lobby or collection time is assumed.
Plan my trip from Barceló Bávaro PalacePalace, Beach and the wider Barceló complex
Barceló's official website places Bávaro Palace within the Bávaro Grand Resort and also names Bávaro Beach - Adults Only, Premium Level and Family Club accommodation. Copy the full property name from your booking. 'Barceló Bávaro' alone leaves room for confusion, and a room-category label does not prove a particular pickup point. Ask the excursion contact to confirm the correct property and meeting instructions before leaving your room.
Prepare a family quote using actual ages
Hotel room-pricing rules do not determine child fares on a separate Saona excursion. Tell LoveSaona the ages of every child and whether you need to discuss an infant, child road seat, suitable lifejackets or assistance with boat boarding. Ask what can be brought on the vehicle and boat if you plan to travel with a stroller. Confirm the final party total rather than applying a hotel age category to the tour.
- Barceló Bávaro Palace as the exact property
- Adults, children's ages and any infant arrangements
- Road seating, lifejackets and boarding needs
- Written meeting point, return instructions and final family total
Choose the route around your family's priorities
Classic offers the larger shared catamaran format with a beach-focused outing, while Premium has a smaller shared speedboat group and more stops. Discuss time on the boat, shade, meal needs and the planned stops before choosing. A private road vehicle does not change the group boat into a private charter. If you prefer the vessel for your family only, request an exclusive boat quote and confirm transport separately.
Keep hotel services and excursion services distinct
The hotel describes its own vacation-service desk, but this guide is LoveSaona's independent planning resource, not an official Barceló booking channel. Confirm which provider is responsible for your transfer and boat trip, and keep that contact available. Check pickup coverage, any supplement, the expected hotel return and weather-cancellation terms before paying. For the broader road journey, use the Bávaro transfer guide rather than treating a generic driving estimate as a guaranteed timetable.
Questions about this departure
Is Bávaro Palace pickup the same as Bávaro Beach pickup?
Do not assume that. They are different hotel names within the wider Barceló resort setting. Use the exact property from your reservation and obtain the meeting instructions for that property.
Do the hotel's child age categories apply to the Saona price?
A hotel booking's age rules do not establish excursion fares. Send the children's actual ages and request the final tour total, including transfers and any infant arrangements.
Is LoveSaona the hotel's excursion desk?
No. This is an independent LoveSaona guide. A reference to Barceló Bávaro Palace does not imply a hotel partnership or that the hotel operates the tour. Confirm the responsible providers in your own booking.
